Friendly Fires - Main Stage
Strutting their stuff at Reading
Friendly Fires brought a touch of exotica to the Main Stage this afternoon, recruiting hawaiian dancers to join them for their single 'Hawaiian Air'.
Singer Ed Macfarlane had already shown off his dance moves throughout the set, which included songs from their recent album 'Pala' as well as their self-titled debut LP.
Fans threw confetti as the St Albans band launched into the likes of 'Jump In The Pool' and 'On Board', with some festival goers sporting vibrant headdresses, reflecting the group's tropical sound. The party atmosphere continued with tracks such as 'Live Those Days Tonight' and 'Pull Me Back To Earth', despite the poor weather conditions.
Finishing on 'Kiss Of Life', Macfarlane encouraged the crowd to "make the most of their last chance to dance", wiggling his hips across the length of the stage.
